Scientific Directors
The Directors are in charge of supervising the Editorial Board, monitoring the quality of the Journal of Quantum Science (JQuant) and selecting editors. The Scientific Directors are first instance for an appeal in cases of disagreement between authors and editors.

Editorial Board
The Editorial Board is JQuant's most important asset. Editors are in charge of the peer-review of submissions and take themselves the final decision on whether or not to publish a contribution. The Editor in charge therefore takes full responsibility for the manuscripts they handle.

Editorial Office
The Editorial Office oversees the journal’s daily operations, monitors editorial activities, supports authors, editors, reviewers, and readers, and works closely with all parties involved to ensure the timely resolution of any issues or delays.
Production Office
The Production Office is responsible for typesetting accepted manuscripts and liaising with authors during the proofreading stage, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of the published content while shepherding all manuscripts from acceptance to publication.
IT and Development
The IT and Development team at SISSA Medialab develop and maintain the JQuant software system, an open-source platform based on Janeway.
The platform supports the entire editorial workflow, from submission and peer review through production to publication. Developers at SISSA Medialab work closely with the Janeway community to ensure continuous development aligned with users’ needs and the evolving publishing landscape, while maintaining reliability and scalability.
